STATE OFFERS $10,000 FOR INFORMATION ABOUT TABITHA TUDERS

TN – After
discussions with Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell and District Attorney
Torry Johnson today, Governor Phil
Bredesen announced the State will offer a $10,000 reward to any
person or persons providing information leading to the apprehension,
arrest and conviction of any person responsible for the kidnapping
or murder of Tabitha Tuders.
Tennessee
Code Section 40-8-101 authorizes the Governor to offer a reward
for information leading to the
apprehension, arrest and
conviction of persons involved in certain criminal activities.

I’m pleased to be able to help with this investigation and
am offering a reward as a means to assist local officials in their
efforts to find Tabitha,” Bredesen said. “I hope this
reward will help bring in the information needed to end this case.
As the investigation moves forward, we’ll continue to keep
Tabitha and her family in our thoughts and prayers.”

to this investigation,” said Purcell. “All the departments
involved in this case believe this can make an important difference,
and the Governor’s quick action is appreciated by all Nashvillians.”

to aid police as they work to solve this case,” Johnson said.
Nashville
teen Tabitha Tuders has been missing since April 29, 2003. Anyone
with information that may be of assistance
in the
Tabitha Tuders investigation is urged to contact the
