Mt. Airy Golf Course and lots will be sold at auction on Thursday, October 16th. The auction will be held at the Mountain Valley Bank, 810 Rankin Avenue
North, in Dunlap, Tennessee, located next to Hardee’s Restaurant. Registration will begin at
11:00 a.m. central standard time. Auction is set at 1:00, central standard time.
A ten % buyer's premium is being charged at this auction. For each $10,000
of bid amount, there will be a $1,000 buyer's premium added to arrive at a purchase price of
$11,000. A depoist of ten percent of the purchase price will be applied as earnest money at the
auction. The balance will be due at closing within 60 days, on or before Tuesday, December 16,
2003. A sign contact will also be required at time of the auction. The property is selling subject
to easements, leases, restrictions, covenants, conditions, zoning and all other matters revealed by
a current survey or an inspection of the property or contained in public records. No personal
property included with the sale.
John Dixon & Associates, auctioneer/broker, are acting exclusively as agent
for the seller. Attorney Brian Kopet of Title Guarantee and Trust Company will conduct the
closings. Deed preparation will be paid by the seller; all other normal closing costs will be paid by
the purchaser. Taxes will be prorated as of date of closing. Title insurance alsowill be available at
the purchaser’s expense.
The property is now available for inspection at your own risk and is selling "as is, where is"
with all faults. Signs, arrows and tract signs will show property to be sold.
